Wexford Foundation and ZipLine Hilton Head team
to support the military and local charities.

The owners of ZipLine Hilton Head and Aerial Adventure Hilton Head, two popular outdoor attractions located at Broad Creek Marina Adventures, are partnering with the Wexford Plantation Charitable Foundation to host “Zip for Charity”, a very special day to benefit health, housing, hunger and educational charities of the Lowcountry.   Each year, the Foundation provides grants to local humanitarian charities.  Roger and Pam Freedman, owners of ZipLine Hilton Head are donating 100% of the proceeds of the May 4th “Zip for Charity” event to the Foundation as their way of giving back to the community.   Roger Freedman said “We really like the way the Wexford Foundation identifies and supports many of the very effective charities on Hilton Head Island.  We are proud of our partnership with them.”

The Wexford Foundation was formed in 2012 as a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation.  The Foundation is managed by volunteers and in three years, over $230,000 has been awarded to nineteen local charities.  More information, including a list of all grant recipients, may be found at http://www.wexfordfoundation.com/.

The “Zip for Charity” event offers supporters and guests several ways to participate.   The special “Zip for Charity Reservation Hotline” is 843-715-2842 to take reservations and donations for this event.

1) Purchase a ticket for $89 via the Hotline to have a reserved time for your two-hour guided ZipLine adventure on May 4th.

2) Purchase a ticket for $49 for the two-hour self-guided Aerial Adventure on May 4th.

3) “Send a Soldier” Donation Program.  For those who would like to take advantage of the opportunity to thank a local military hero, you may donate $100 to send a local active duty Marine, sailor, or soldier and their guest to enjoy Aerial Adventure, along with a voucher for lunch next door at the Up the Creek Pub & Grill.  Military personnel and their guest will be able to use this certificate anytime in 2015.  The Wexford Foundation and ZipLine are working with representatives of nearby military bases to make the Aerial Adventure available to local military personnel as a way of showing appreciation for everything they do for our country.   Call the Hotline to support this very important initiative.

Since space is limited, please order your tickets for you or your military guests soon.   More information on the ZipLine and Aerial Adventure is available at http://www.ziplinehiltonhead.com/.   Jim Hicks, Chairman of the Wexford Foundation, stated “This is a great partnership in giving, and ZipLine and Pam and Roger Freedman are to be applauded for their generosity.  The bonus of enabling supporters to show appreciation to local military heroes really takes this event to a new level.”
