This year’s 4th of July Celebration was a little different than years past. We amped up our annual event (typically celebrated on just one day) and hosted an entire weekend full of activities!

A few notable favorites included our:
Star Spangled 5K – Saturday, July 2nd
We kicked off the weekend with an inaugural 5K! This fun run/walk consisted of a 3.1 mile route throughout the neighborhood followed by post-race awards and refreshments under the misting tent. With 34 participants, we were pleased to see so many families (including our 4-legged family members) join in on the fun!

Rockin’ in the USA Pool Party & Lunch – Saturday, July 2nd
This year’s bounce house party was held poolside, along with entertainment from DJ Alan, including a Dance Party (both on land AND in the pool), Hula Hoop Contest, Limbo Contest and of course music!

Children’s Fishing Tournament – Sunday, July 3rd
This year we had a record number of children (26!) compete to catch the MOST fish! Although the fish were slow to bite on Sunday, the children were able to see several different types of fish that live in their backyards.

Stars & Stripes Round Robin – Monday, July 4th
We had a spirited event with over 20 participants!

23rd Annual Cart Parade & Cookout – Monday, July 4th
This is year’s cart parade was one of our largest! We had 50 carts decked out in holiday spirit parading throughout the neighborhood. Following the parade, all the participants headed to the Clubhouse where they enjoyed traditional BBQ favorites!
