Last Friday we hosted our ever-popular Guest Bartender Night. We first introduced Guest Bartender last year- and it was a hit! It’s an evening in which we invite two brave Wexford members to hop behind the bar (with support from our knowledgeable bar backs!) and serve their neighbors and friends, with all tips going to a good cause. Interested members throw their hat into the ring and their names are selected at random.
This time Cindy Creamer and Josh Johnson were the two lucky members selected! They chose the theme, Yacht Rock, and the specialty drinks, Smooth Operator and Lido Cosmo. Everyone had a blast – patrons and bartenders alike!
Tips from this Guest Bartender Night went towards a fund for one of our longtime (over 27 years!!), dedicated employees who’s been with forced to go out on permanent disability to due severe foot problems.
We’ve enhanced our website yet again!
This month we launched a “Real Estate” webpage. This section of our site is dedicated to providing property details for available listings within our community.
Wexford currently has 459 properties, of which 51 of those are townhomes, 47 are garden homes, 238 are on the golf course and 123 are on the harbour. As of this date (August 24), there are approximately 50 properties on the market.
Our community layout was designed to ensure that every property enjoys scenic views of the golf course, inland harbour or Broad Creek. If you’re looking for picturesque Lowcountry landscape views, look no further! Check out our Real Estate webpage and find your dream home/homesite today!
If you have are a Realtor and would like to have your property listing displayed, please contact our Director of Communications & Marketing at email@example.com.
The Wexford Plantation Charitable Foundation and Aerial Adventure Hilton Head recently joined forces and raised $10,000 to support local charities as a part of the 2nd annual “Send A Hero” campaign. By selling certificates to local residents, Wexford Foundation enabled 100 members of the HHI Fire Rescue and 100 guests to enjoy Aerial Adventure’s 6 challenge courses followed by lunch at Up the Creek Pub & Grill next door. Roger Freedman, owner of Aerial Adenture HH, donated $10,000 in certificates plus their lunches, in support of the wonderful work both the Foundation and the Fire Rescue do.
Mike Fekete, owner of Java Burrito Company in the Village at Wexford, recently donated 10% of his gross sales to the Foundation on May 18th, resulting in over $400 to the Foundation.
The Foundation is so grateful to our local community in supporting their fundraising efforts.
