Welcome to Wexford Croquet

One of the hidden gems at Wexford is our tournament croquet lawn, located across from the children’s playground.

blog3There is an active group of croquet players within Wexford. Currently, on Monday mornings Wexford players play Beginner and Intermediate Six-Wicket, and on Tuesday mornings players play Golf Croquet (a fast-pace, easy game to learn). In addition, on the fourth Sunday of each month, we host a Wine & Wickets croquet social, followed by dinner in the Clubhouse. This is a great way to get introduced to the game and meet your neighbors; no experience required to join in on the fun!

Backyard croquet equipment is also available for use on the adjoining grassy area – a fun activity for families. Wexford residents have full access to the croquet facility and equipment at no charge.

The next time you find yourself looking for a fun activity, look no further than the croquet lawn!

This month’s issue is dedicated to two very popular sports here in Wexford, croquet and tennis. While they are incredibly different games, using different tools and requiring different strategies, there are a couple commonalities; both take place on a court, and both are considered life-long sports to enjoy. It’s never too early or late to get involved – so check out this issue to learn more!
